My absolute favorite local pizzeria! If I could take K's with me I would. The owners are friendly, they make specialty pizzas, and they deliver for free locally. What more could you ask for? I love love love K's! They never disappoint.

Went here to try a large mushroom pizza for carry-out. Based on the reviews it sounded like the pizza was good. HOWEVER, we were all very disappointed. Crust was awful and pizza had no taste whatsoever .... I would not recommend at all...

Yep, still gotta come here any time we're in Florida. The quality of the food can't be beat: still gotta have that antipasto salad, and we'll always love the pizza (which our waitress told us is Connecticut-style, who knew). The pepperoni and mushroom pizza was intensely flavorful with woodsy, fresh mushrooms. They've updated the decor a bit since I was last here but it's definitely still the same place at heart. For great pizza with a family touch, K's is A-OK!

You will see I am very hard on Italian restaurants. As a believer that Italian food is the best of all cuisines I hold these restaurants to a higher standard. THERE IS NOTHING ITALIAN ABOUT K's. That's it..

I have been in the restaurant business myself for 18 of my 55 years, I have loved pizza since I was a child and have eaten at many pizza restaurants in many areas of the US. I have eaten at K's approximately 20 times over the last few years and I love the food especially the El Greco pizza! This is a family business and I admire the commitment of the owners Frank and Tania. The pizza crust is unlike any I have ever had, the quality and freshness have consistently been excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I love pizza and the pepperoni and mushroom pizza was exactly as I like it, flavorful toppings and crispy crust. Service was great, everyone in the party loved their food. If you want a nice family restaurant with great quality food, good value, and excellent service this is the place to visit.

A nice hidden gem I was glad to discover. Good, friendly service. The Greek salad and complimentary bread was ridiculously delicious and the souvlaki platter was awesome. The moussaka was not bad, but the souvlaki definitely outshined it. The restaurant is also pretty eco-friendly too, which is always cool :)

We have eaten at K's several times in the past 6 months since we moved to the Deep Creek area and we have always been very satisfied. Our favorite item on the menu is the antipasto salad - no matter what else we order, We love the homemade lasagna - it's simply delicious and the serving sizes are enough to take some home for next day lunch. But, the main reason we love K's is for their pizza!! Simply the best - especially the crust :) The staff is friendly and competent and the place is always clean. We are happy to have found K's!

This is one of the few restaurants in the Deep Creek area, and I love Greek salads, so I was hopeful it would become my new favorite dinner spot when we moved into the neighborhood. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The pizza was enormous, but strikingly bland, and it took FOREVER to arrive at our table. The Greek salad had huge rectangular chunks of poor quality feta, and the calzone was drowning in ricotta. (Hint: quantity does not make up for quality.) Bread is upcharged, not complimentary, and the prices overall are too high for what you get. I may give them one more shot just so I can try the outdoor seating, but I can't say I am looking forward to it.

We love the pizza. My husband loves the K's special and I love the plain cheese. The Greek salads are the best around!!

I'm not sure what I liked better....the people or the food. They were both incredible. You cannot get a meal like this at these great prices made by such rich hearts anywhere but a family owned business. Make this a regular stop of you're local or a be sure to come on on your way.

The food here was pretty great!! just for her for our food. We didn't have to wait long just to get our pizza!! :) if you're looking for one of the pizza shop you should come here anytime. You won't be disappointed.

Not really great pizza, but I didn't hate it. If there is anything consistent, it is the pizza that comes out of this little pizzeria. My biggest point of contention is that the pizza becomes inedible as it cools as the crust turns into concrete. When I just had to choose between Dominos and K's, it was no question and I would just wolf down the pepperoni pizza from K's before it could get cold. Now that I have other options in the area, well...I think K's days are numbered in my book.

Pizza and Calzones were good, but service was pretty awful. Took over 30 minutes just to get an appetizer. Waitress was tough to flag down every time you needed something. There are better places around, in my opinion.

Great little place to go for good food and great service!! Everyone there was so very friendly, provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. The food was very yummy too! To start we had stuffed Jalapenos, then for our meal we shared a large meat-lover's pizza & small Antipasto salad. The stuffed Jalapenos were really good! Not quite sure what the stuffing was, but it was cheesy and good. They were perfectly fried too - enough breading to make them just right. The antipasto salad was delicious, probably the 2nd best I've ever had. The pizza was loaded with meat, and was a good sturdy crust. No floppiness on the pizza, we were able to hold the slice and eat it. Drinks stayed filled, and we were checked on throughout the meal. Price was great too! Very reasonable. All in all, a great value! Definitely will be back to visit next year when we're in the area again!

Regular + Everything pizza. Both excellent! Also they were VERY nice to our children and even made a (free) small portion of pasta+tomato sauce, because one daughter was not in pizza-mood. Great food, great service, great visit!

Hello! Our names are Barry and Lisa. We moved to Punta Gorda-Deep Creek area about 4 weeks ago. We came from Fort Wayne, Indiana where our favorite pizza was from a business called Oley's. It was a family owned place that served cheese stuffed crust pizza. It was great. Tonight, we discovered K's Family Pizzaria. We had the special Supreme pizza. It was fantastic. All of the 14 or so toppings were evenly distributed and it had just the right amount of cheese on it. Alot! We love cheese and think every pizza should have plenty of it. It did and we didn't have to ask for extra cheese or pay for extra cheese. We had a small and it had six yummy pieces and was only $12.50. They also offer oregano, peppers, amd parmesan to sprinkle on top of the pizza. For desert we ordered Carrot Cake, I am not a Carrot Cake lover, but Barry is. Oh my gosh. Our waiter brought out a small Carrot Cake that was about six inches around with wonderful icing. It was warm and oh so good. His mom made it fresh that day. We shared it and still brought a peice home. It was a little expensive at 7 some dollars, but it was worth it and since we shared it was only $3.50 for each of us. That is a reasonably priced desert. The service was wonderful . Jason was our waiter. He was very sweet and attentive. We sat ouitside. That was very nice and quiet. It was around 8:30 on a Saturday night and the place was empty. However, people were coming in for carry-out orders. I don't understand why it was not busier. It was wonderful and I can't wait to go back. If you have not been there you should definitly give it a try. If you have been there and had a bad experience, give them another shot. You may be pleasantly surprised!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
